If we are to suggest that space travel is encompassed in your definition of ; then it would be safe bet to answer USA. Since we(USA) have done more space exploration than Russia. However if we are to place nano-technology, superconductors and micro-electrical circuits inclusive to the question; then Russia may give us a run for our money--maybe not. It would give more clarity to the question to ask about Sweden, Japan and Germany.

You are joking, right. Have you been to Russia. I have and they are decades behind the USA.

I suspect it's the US. We have a more elaborate cell phone network and own all the CDMA patents that are the basis for the cell network.
