If the bees continues to dissappear, we might not be in quite as much trouble as Einstein predicted, as mechanical pollination is much more possible now than it would have been then. That said, everything would be much much more expensive if mechanical polination was required.

The disappearance of the Honey bee started with the Reagan presidency when Dick Cheney and friends decided it was going to be good thing to let the USDA, EPA and FDA be run by the very same people who those governmental departments were to protect us from. So to sum it up, to increase profit they no longer test stuff but recall it when they find a problem. Lets hope they start recalling soon.
