I know that alot of people don't believe in God or heaven or Hell, and that's cool, i'm not trying to preach to anyone who doesn't want to hear it, but to Me, believing that you go no where after you die scarrier than believing in hell. When i die i don't want to just be done, forever, the idea of an after life comforts me ,even if it can't be proven to be real,I still chose to believe in it. Of course going to hell would be awful but non-exsistance would suck more. Doesn't non exsistance scare anyone but me?

that is kinda scary. i've believed in God and Heaven and hell my whole life and i've been worshipping. my goal in the afterlife is to go to heaven. going to hell would suck really bad but not goin anywhere, with no afterlife or anything is kinda worse. and knowing that there is an afterlife also comforts me.

Of course everyone would rather be in heaven than not being anywhere at all... If I'd be an atheist I'd choose to be alive than dead, and that's still the same answer, so there's not really a debate here, the answer is obvious. A more difficult question would be wether you'd like God to exist(with the risk of sending you in hell) or just to live your life and then end your entire existence.. This non-existence thing scares me the most, as it would drain life of any sense it may have..(though, to believe in God means you rule out that possibility..so don't be afraid :P)

I think about this every day and it scares me so much to think. like if we just didn't exsist at all after we died then our lives now just seem competely pointless and it's really depressing. but hell and heaven seem depressing too. because any thing that happens when you die, whatever it is, lasts eternally, and doing anything for eterntiny just seems horrible. I don't know if this makes any scense. sorry.

I don't think it's scary at all. If we get to live long enough, we make an impact on others and become immortal that way. I just figure I'll find out whatever it is when I get there. I do find it scary that some people who believe in an eternal hell want to create a hell on earth for people who think differently, however.

I had rather be in Heaven any time, but as far as our soul, and spirit, there is no such thing as nothing ( no-existence). We will be either in Heaven or Hell, no matter what faith, or religion you are, and no matter whether you believe or not. That is the truth, The question was asked, and I answered.

Yeah it does seam kinda scary but if your non existent then you would be living and you wouldn't know? I like to think there is another life for you after you die but I also believe in God does that make sense? LOL

Heaven. When I was younger non-existence scared me, but then I realised that even IF my Christian faith is wrong, there are so many 0other religions that discuss something beyond that there must be something after the death of the mortal body. The soul lives on.

It absolutely gives me comfort to know that I am going to Heaven when I die. It would be scarier to me to know that I was going to Hell than non-existance though. Burning for eternity would be the worst thing that could ever happen.

Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and I'll see you there.

Personally when i croak, my body's going into the ground. End of problem. After that all else is irrelevant. Believing in hell/heaven doesn't matter to me either way.

Non-existance doesn't sound bad to me. You won't feel it, because you're, well not there anymore...lol... I'm not religious, so I don't feel like there is a place we go to when we die. I just think we become a part of the earth when we are gone...and we will help things grow, and they cycle continues so on and so forth
