"A Man Whispers"

"The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang.

But, the man did not hear.

So the man yelled, "God, speak to me" and the thunder rolled across the sky.

But, the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said, "God let me see you." And a star shined brightly.

But the man did not see.

And, the man shouted, "God show me a miracle." And, a life was born.

But, the man did not notice.

So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know you are here." Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.

But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on."

Do not know the author of this poem... but it says it all!!!

fifi, God can't show Himself to those of us who have sin upon us... which is everyone believers and non-believers. But, God showed what this man was asked, but the man didn't listen nor see. Sure it was nature and creatures of life, but God answered the man's request, but the man failed to see or hear... that's how so many are today... they want to see God in a physical form... but when He had come they did not see nor recognize Him..... whoever wrote this poem, my hats off to them.

Carl, why blame God for the man who rapes? Why not blame the man? Why is it that anything bad that happens its always God's doing cause He didn't stop it.

Any one who doesn't get what this poem says, doesn't want to 1) admit it, 2) see it, and 3) receive it.

This is an awesome poem and a fantastic representation of God and His glory. By the way, thanks for this little reminder. Had a bad few weeks and needed this. God Bless.

Well I believe in God and I would go as far as to say I know for sure he exists, but all this dreamy, wishy washy irrational emotional stuff. Makes me feel that a lot of Christians simply don’t base there faith on reason

Romans 1:20 For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.

Explain a poem? Okay, someone took up a pen and wrote a bunch of words in sequence down on a piece of paper. If you really think writing a poem constitutes proof of deities, you have serious mental problems.
