That's just what love- or more appropriately, infatuation- does to a person. Since you have known each other a relatively short time, you are still in the beginning stages of a relationship, and in that stage, it seems like you're going to die every time you two have to be apart. Additionally, you're probably a little nervous that you may never see him again, despite his talk of the future. I'm afraid that there's not much that can be done for that weird, empty feeling. Just try to stay in contact as often as possible while he's gone, and see if you can continue to make the relationship work long-distance. If it's meant to be, it will be.

Nobody dies because someone leaves. There's only two options here:
1) You can live without the person (it will hurt but your life does not end there)
2) Even though you can live without the person, you choose not to (meaning that you are willing to pursue the relationship. It will also hurt, but at least you are actively looking for an answer)
Good luck!

theres no way anyone on here can tell you that bc we dont know him, but my best advice to you is, keep living your life, and dont get your hopes up too much because although there are many romantic military love stories, there are also some very traigic ones where military men will say anything to get some. Good luck to you

Yeah I would think that means he sees you in his future. I would talk to him and tell him your feelings. Its better to know now if its a long term thing then to get anymore invested and you get really hurt in the long run.

Tell him how you feel. If he feels the same, he will probably be over joyed. Your just dreading the idea of him leaving, probably becuase you like him so much. But you should ask yourself, if he is willing to commit, am I ?
