God isn't in charge of love, your example is proof of that. We are on our own when it comes to relationships. Smart choices are more important than blind faith.

Why on earth would you try to run from love? Yes, love can hurt, but it is also one of the greatest emotions and gifts that we mortals have. Do you know that this person doesn't love you? Is what you're feeling really love? Or is it a crush? When it comes to true love, the emotions will be mutually. But no matter what type of love it is, there will always be pain... because the ones we love hurt us unintentionally... but it hurts more than anything. However the reward for love is beyond anything that can be explained or described.
I hope you find true love soon.

We are born with a spirit of free will. The bible gives us guidelines to live by which will make our walk here on earth more beneficial but it is up to us to follow these laws.
I hear this all the time why did God allow this to happen? I think a lot of times we disobey God's laws and then point a finger back at him.
As for love here's what the bible teaches on love: see if your previous loves ever loved you like this and if not look for someone that believes in this verse.
Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.

I so feel you there. I am afraid to fall to in love, which I feel like I have and for him to just up and leave. I met some one wonderful he meets almost all the criteria on my list. Because you know all women have a list ^_^ Anyways the only thing you can do is pray to God that they love you back and that they will find something about you that no one else has and that it is the most attractive thing ever.

Well I am sorry that your love has hurt you. However, that is not God's fault. Did you ever pray to God to help you find the one for you to love. Many people act on their own and when it fails they blame God. Why have you run away from love? You may have a deep hurt there that is hampering your life. If you want God involved you must ask Him.

What does God have to do with it. If you entrust your love life to God, then He will lead you to the right person. And yes, because there is love, there is also pain and we need to focus on the good things when we are loved. It is a fact, that although sometimes we feel rotten and unloved and hurt, we always grow out of it ready to love and be loved again.

It's never a mistake to love someone. When you care for someone without expecting anything in return, you will be rewarded in the end. Look to God for healing from your pain. He is always there to catch you when you fall. Hope that helps!

It is not God who allows us to fall in love but ourselves. My definition of love is truly knowing a person as much as you can and accepting their faults as is. No rose colored glasses. In this case love is the choice to spend time with them, get to know them, discover their scars and faults as well as their joys. Accept God's comfort and move on. He has someone special for you that will bring you more blessings than the one you choose.

This may not be who God has for you! Remember, when one door closes, God can open another one for you! Sometimes, we just have to see things as not being God's will for your life! God has a better plan for you than you can ever imagine. Why not just trust Him to bring in whoever He has for you instead of trusting in your own judgment? Being a Christian entails giving up our own will for the will of One who is greater and all knowing.....Almighty God! I know that when things do not work out and you are down to nothing, God is always up to something! God bless you!

Instead of blaming God, try to be more discerning of the type of person you "fall in love with". By the way, You GROW love, you don't trip and FALL into it!

God gives us freewill to love others. we may take a chance or run away. either way, if that love is meant for us, chances are that it will catch up to you and God is probably giving a little helpful hint. he doesn't want to see us hurt intentionally. God has a plan for you and is asking you to put your life in his hands. Opportunities are opening all around you, so don't give up and be strong for yourself
