No, 3/10 is the equivalent to 1.5/5 and 1/5 is the equivalent to 2/10.
Just divide 3 and 10 by 2 to get 1.5/5
or
Multiply 1 and 5 by 2 to get 2/10

Native American blood percentages are divisible by 2,
starting with the full-blooded and moving down the tree,
so if 1/2, then one full and one none for parents.
For one full-blooded of 4 grandparents,
then 1/2 for one of your parents,
then 1/4 for you (and if you marry zilch native blood-line),
1/8 for your children.
This method of calculation applies to other ancestry as well as Native American.
Now...I could be wrong about this...and later answerers will certainly let you know.
So, what happens when you don't know about one or more of your grandparents? You calculate in zero, for not known, but you don't just take that person out of the denominator. That number still reflects the total number of ancestors, from whom you are descended, in which one of them was full-blooded. So such numbers as 1/32, 1/64, and 1/128 come from the total number making-up you, with all counted. Then, if you have multiple lines with some ancestry, you may find the lowest common fraction, such that 2/32 becomes 1/16. The preference though is that you represent descent specific to that surname ancestor. Example: I am 1/32 on my mother's side and 1/8 on my father's side.
So 8 x 4 =32 (that is the common denominator)
Since I multiplied the bottom of the 1/8 by 4,
now I have to do the top, too.
1 x 4 = 4.
That makes 4/32 plus 1/32, and added equals 5/64. Since that number is not divisible by 2, I have to say this much on that side and this much from the other side.

No, because 3 divided by 2 is not 1 unlike 10 divided by 2 is 5

Equivelent fractions are fractions that have an identical fee, even although they might look diverse. occasion: a million/2 and a pair of/4 are equivalent, by using fact they are the two "0.5" that is not any longer proper in case you multiply a million/2 via 2 to get 2/4 or divide 2/4 to get a million/2, yet once you multiply or divide you often would desire to do it via an identical quantity.

It's been a long time since I went to school last, but one thing I do know for sure is, this is the GENEALOGY section, not the mathematics section.
