christians constantly judge judge and judge the "unsaved". why are they so sure of life, when they havent even experienced mans way. they say what man does is a sin. man doesnt need a god to tell him what to do. he has right from wrong already programmed into his mind. violent video games, bud, alcohol, sex. these are things natural for people to do, why would they exist if not for entertainment. christians jump to the bible for an answer, "because they are satans temptations for us", that makes a could point for a written piece of psychology to manipulate our minds from living naturally. i believe theres a god, look around you, but religion is over rated and way to constricted on mans true instincts. its what a well taught man or woman wrote long ago. and theres so many things in there its hard to prove them wrong, for one, who would bother to write a book to prove it wrong, humans also get lazy. who else thinks like me..its okay to have a doubt and consider this true, christ 4gives

I have a similar point of view that you do. I agree with a lot of what you said man, but there really is only a possibility of a god. Anyway, smoke on!

I have experienced "man's way" as you call it and I did not like it. All Christians weren't born into Christianity and didn't just appear out of no where. I lived a rough life until becoming a Christian at 26 and that is where I found true peace. I believe some denominations of Christianity are too restrictive like you say but in my relationship with God is where I have found true creativity...not judging you, just taking the time to answer your question.

Let me state something that is very mis-understood in today`s hectic world,God gave us the gift of freedom and this means that we have the ability to do the right thing and make the right choices, freedom is not the ability to do whatever you want to do,but to do what is good and wholesome.
Someone invents violent video games or makes hard core porn films etc, and this just to make money, and so they have gone against the gift of true freedom and by doing so they pull others into this vicious circle, this is really the abuse of human freedom which is a high and morale gift from God.
Addictions too are freedom abused and the poor soul is held in their grip, like the drug addict or alcoholic who no longer get a buzz or kick anymore, they are helpless to the need of the brain for the chemicals.

Well, by your same token, why does one man slaughter another and desecrate the body, if not for entertainment? Why does a person rob another, taking their money, pictures, identification, car...and then beat them mercilously instead of leaving with their new goods? Just entertainment, right? There must exist a drawn line between what is entertainment and what is wickedness. We could say that as long as it does not harm anybody it is entertainment, but harm can come in many ways. Physical...emotional...financial. And then we have the idea that harm is in the eye of the beholder. What one person might see as physical harm...another may not. If someone sees me jabbing myself with needles and injecting things into my body, there's a good chance they will see that I am causing harm to myself. But do they know what is going on? Could it be heroine? Could it be insulin? Could it be a tattoo? Financial harm...if a person is able to pay their bills and lives paycheck to paycheck because they spend the rest of their money...is that financial harm? Some would say no, they are making their payments...let them do what they want with their money. Other people will see that they are causing financial ruin in their future, just by common sense. Sex outside of marriage...what happens to a person who is promised the world by someone, gives in to their passions, has sex with them, and then is thrown away. Emotional harm. You promise to be with them for life? Will you be? If so then there is no real problem, but how often does that happen? And should we then say sex outside of marriage is okay, just based on that small handful who actually keep it honorable? What is the answer? I don't know. But I agree that Christians judging non-Christians are out of their sphere of influence. Christians should share Christ with people who do not believe, but should not force others to live a Christian lifestyle. That should remain "in the family." Blessings in the Light of Christ!

God created Man with free choice. Free choice of what. Obedience or disobedience. What was there to disobey? Something had to be there for him in order for free will this was the tree of Good and Evil. Man was not created with that knowledge. violent video games, bud, alcohol, extra-marital sex was brought into this world through direct disobedience to God. As for Christs forgiveness it is a gift of God but you must accept it completely it is not a carte blanche.
My own humble take on things through the Bible.

It is natural for people to be selfish. To grow into a full mature human being, religion or no, requires that we get past the "what is in it for me", "I do what I want when I want” phase. Just like a child get past different stages in his development. Some people stay at an immature state their whole life. But it is not the ‘natural way’. People are programmed to search for God, by whatever name you know. And they are programed to grow in Love. One has the free will to follow what is deep in ones heart, or not follow and go their own way. Good luck on your search.

I've experienced man's way. After having my share of drugs, alcohol, failed marriages and all those things you say is "natural", I have found a better way.

The "natural" way is empty. It leaves you lonely and alone. You might not think so now, but wait 20 - 30 years. I've come back to Christ 2 years ago, after shunning Him for 30. In those 30 years, I lived the "natural" way. It catches up with you.

Now, I'm divorced, living alone, my children thousands of miles away, and no savings to speak of. But, you know, I'm blessed, because when I was really down, I found God there, waiting for me. I'm going to spend the rest of my life serving Him, by helping others who are going through what I went through.

Judge the Unsaved? Hardly. I love them. I see the pain they suffer and I want to help. I don't preach, I don't lecture. I just let them see God's light glowing from me. It attracts them like flys, and I see such transformation in them, just as I was transformed.

I used to doubt before I came back to Him. Now, I KNOW He exists and is there for me, and He loves me, protects me, comforts me, and I look forward to being in His presence one day. But, occasionally I feel lonliness, and when I do, I pull out the Word, or I meditate, and pray, and I'm not lonely anymore.

He is with me. He is such great company!

Now you need to have an open mind and realize that not all Christians are the same. Wouldn't you think that there is a reason why Christians believe you can't do these things? All the things you have listed, can ruin a persons life - Violence, Serial Killers, - Alcohol, Alcoholic, - Sex, Rapist, Porn-aholic, Sex addict. It is not the acts that one should be worried about, but the long term affect of them.

The Constitution lets them have their religion, and you can have yours, they shouldn't judge people before they talk to or hear their opinion, they can be tempting to do, and you shouldn't overdo something like drink too much, but for sex you shouldn't do that all the time I mean I agree with you, look at Bush he's a Christian right, so he wants every other country to convert to christian which he shouldn't do, because they don't have to believe in God or someone else, we could solve wars easier if someone wasn't there to push their religion on someone

Trouble is --Christians give Christ a bad name--if they obeyed Christ & stopped judging & condemning others--more people would be attracted to Christ's teaching--Instead--the completely ignore Christ's commandments--& look to other authors in the Bible who condone judging others--like Paul --.

Christ does forgive us for messing up and doubting him but we can only recieve that forgiveness if we ask, it's not automatically given to us and we must ask while we are still alive.
When I was little I listened to my parents b/c I loved and respected them and I knew they loved me too. they knew I could think for myself but they were trying to help me out and in then end I still made the finale choice not them. That's is how God is I believe forexemple he died for our sins on a cross so that we may be forgiven and spend eternity in heaven w/him but he doesn't force it upon us he allows us to choose either him or the world.
