Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be out in left field somewhere all alone with my opinion but that's okay - been there before...
"Hot" isn't all about a visual thing. Yeah, I'm a guy. Really. Used to be I'd look - say, "Hot damn!" and all subsequent thought would stop. Not so much any more. Now it's - "Looks hot... I wonder how many guys out there are absolutely sick and tired of her sh*t." With Danica, and after watching that little hissy fit she threw last year on the track, I'm betting the numbers are staggering if that is any indication of her personality.
Too, I would like to hear more about drivers like David Gilliland who has surprised me a couple of times already this year with his driving or Ragan or... but I won't. Not if Danica is here. I mean, you can't get away from updates about Jr. and Tony, Johnson and Gordon, but even established names are going to lose air time to her if she makes the switch. I'd guess a good solid 15% of NASCAR coverage would be Danica this and Danica that.
Finally, I am sick and tired of the almighty glorified female athlete. If a girl is good enough to make it - great. I don't care what the sport. But focus on her greatness then and not what's between her legs.
I really think that what would happen would drive me to quit watching NASCAR and that would be a shame.

Putting aside her looks and sex for a moment (which, in theory, should not matter as far as driving a car goes), I don't think she's ready for NASCAR. As several people have already pointed out, she's not proven herself in the IRL yet, and she still needs to mature as a driver. I'm curious to see how she does with Andretti Green this year.
While NASCAR would love to have her because of the attention she gets, if someone were to drop her into a Cup car right now she would probably end up running in the middle of the pack at best at this point. That would probably be frustrating for her, and in such a results-based sport, if that's all she did and kept her ride, others would call it favoritism. If she lost her ride, it would be career suicide. Either way, it's not a good situation to be in right now. So, at this point, she's better off setting herself some goals for IRL and not moving until she's met those. She needs at least a couple of wins, and a top 5 finish in points. When she does that, she'll have the clout to hook up with a good truck series team and work her way up. She's young enough - she's got plenty of time.

Personally... I don't think she should stoop so low as to go to NASCAR. She has proven her talent as a driver and capable of a win in her series. She is as capable of winning a NASCAR race as say "Jimmie" is of winning the Indy 500. I'm certain that Gordon, Stewart, Schrader, Newman, Kahne and many others would not be racing NASCAR if it were not for thr money. They'd be racing where their heart is. Danica will hopefully never betray us like all the before mentioned drivers, and go on to race something with class like F1. "Back in the day" Like Mario. Michael, Parker Johnstone and other Americans had the balls to do.... and now Scott Speed. Our drivers used to take on the world...
However if Danica came to NASCAR I must admit I'd much rather see Danica waxed than Tony.

Not me. And she doesn't want to go to Nascab. She said in an interview that her haeart is IndyCar
. And based on the comments from the sexist nascar fans she wouldn't like the company the "good ole boys"/ low class hillbilly fan base & pit crew/ nascar workers.

Danica should finish a race in the top 5 in a field of 18 first. She would get eaten alive in NASCAR.

Danica would absolutely BOMB in NASCAR. She hasn't even been successful in IRL yet and she was on a very good team. IRL is different from NASCAR. In IRL the best teams have a huge advantage, but in NASCAR there are rules in place to even the playing field for all teams. At least in terms of car setups. Some teams seem to have a competitive advantage, but the cars are basically equal.
Danica has gotten far too much attention because of her looks. She has proven very little as a driver.

why not? if the guys are going to irl why can she come to nascar. I think it will make a difference, not too many people will be happy but it will be just an adjustment for them to do. Just like the cars of tomorrow and toyota!

Dani has talent. But she really needs to improve. I mean if she wore tight leather pants, skimpy bikini top with Stewy sucking on a tit she might make it past the front gate of a NASCAR event. And she is HOTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Hell No!!! She can't win a race in her present sport, so how does anyone think she can win in a sport where there is so much "bump and grind"? I am a woman, but I am so tired of women moving in on everything men do! The last woman that tried NASCAR couldn't hang with the "big dogs" and didn't do anything more than get in the way.
