Alright the time has come, I have bought the ring, and now I am thinking of ways to pop the question. I origionally was going to get a group of our friends together and go camping to this beautiful river, and one day go off on our own and pop it, then come back and celebrate with friends. But after getting some feedback from friends stating that they don't know if they'll be able to go or not, and it being a 4 hr drive and some other things I've scrapped that Idea. They other one I think is alot better. Now I know its not origional and some people say its cliche. But I was thinking of going to our local triple A baseball teams game and doing it either on the jumbo tron or see if I could dress up as the mascot and go over to her holding a sign saying "will you marry me?" I'd like to do something out of the ordinary and she would be all for it. We both are goofy crazy people, and like to have fun. I would have our friends there too video taping and taking pictures. Thanks for your help!!

Take her camping and ask her then. You don't need your friends to be there. This is about you and her. You can get together with your friends afterwards. Just spend some time with her now.
Personally I would have hated it if hubby proposed in public. It's too much pressure!

Why do your friends or other people have to be involved? If you love this woman and want to spend the rest of your life with her then just make her dinner at home (just the 2 of you) and ask her. You will get your answer a nice dinner and probably a little something else you'd both like! It should be done in private. Have friends over the next night.

Personally I wouldn't want my guy to do something huge and expensive like displaying it at a baseball game because then I'd feel obligated to say yes and if I said no he would have wasted time and money. I think it would be nice to just take your girl to a nice restaurant and then go for a walk in a park or on the beach afterward, get on one knee and ask ;) Good luck

The mascot things sounds good if she is a baseball kind of gal. Remember what ever you choose this will be something that you both remember for the rest of your lives. How about getting married in the woods? That would be really neat.

Oh sweet that sounds sooooo cool, good thinkin' thats a cool idea.. If i was her tho i would be embarrased at first and all, but remember your the one in the mascot suit so your more likely to turn red more.HA ha lol. But yeah i say go for it man, hope that works. If its love... and she loves for you ....then you'll be fine.

If you know that this is what your girlfriend would appreciate then go for it.
I am a romantic so would prefer the river one, and probably just me and the guy.

that sounds like a great idea...if she is a goofy, funny person then by all means im sure she'd love it.. just do something from your heart and if you tie in some things that fit your girl then im sure she'll love it..

hmm those are cute ideas.. or if ur willing to spend the money u can get one of those airplanes to spell (her name first and then) will u marry me? on the sky and she can look up and see it....
or plan a game for easter, and do a scanveger hunt for eggs and one of those eggs has a note inside that says will u marry me? lol
idk but do sumthing out of the ordinary.... girls like that.
