My husband is leaving the country and isn't planning on returning. He will sign anything because we are still friends and this is a decison we both agree on. We have on child and i will have full legal custody of him and the property will be mine he has no use for it when he will be out of the country. I want this simple and don't have the money for a lawyer

If both parties agree to the divorce and there is no children it should be very easy to get a divorce w/o a lawyer, you do not even need to order from a web site, go down to local court house and request forms for a pro-se divorce they will supply the forms you two fill it out

If you have co-owned property or children from the marriage, you are stupid not to get a lawyer. If none of those things exist, then you might be able to work it out by filing your own paperwork. I got divorced in TX in 2004 and I wouldn't have had it any other way but through an attorney. Good luck to you!

Damn, I divorced myself once and it cost me plenty. But then I fell back in love with me and now everythings ok. Now if my wife would just love me.....

Don't believe that on the Internet.Go to a REAL lawyer and get it done right. If there are no issues and no children or property, should be cheap and simple.

Thats how I did mine. You basically give them all your info, and they fill all the forms out needed. Then you just pay and file with your local court, and then have your hearing. Mine was uncontested, so it made it that much easier.

Only costs about $400 for uncontested attorney if you both agree to EVERYHTING. That's the safest way for you to go.
