Just try and be patient with your treatment!
I know, It gets SOOO frustrating,,,I lack in patience when
it comes to treatment,,,I hate feeling bad, I want to feel better!
But those around you, who call themselves your friends, and those who may be your family,,,,they have to understand, you
arent going to get better by just saying "ok, I am being treated". The most common misconception is they think, one dose, one visit with doc, and you are cured!!! Yeah, I sure wish that was the case!
I understand your condition all to well my unknown friend,
but let these ppl know that they are not helping the situation by getting angry with you, or playing it off like you mean to get all this attention!
They are making themselves some of your worst triggers, there is nothing worse than those close to you, who claim they can't understand you-then give you crap about it!
-Yet miles away, those who dont know you at all,
understand you all too well.
,,medication,,mediation,,meditation
live it, do it, be it,
and it will soon slow to the point where you are able
to objectively realize you are in a situation that could
become a bad one,,,so you instantly do what you can
to talk yourself out of this attack, and slowly, regain control
of your mind again.
I dont miss the pounding in my chest one bit,,,
its worth that extra thought.......
but the meds give me the ability to slow my thoughts down,
so my left hand knows what my right hand is doing.
I still have a tinge of one,,,from time to time,,,
and maybe a bad one out of nowhere (high stress time)-
but I seem to recover quicker, still drained and really down though afterwards....like today.
But you can eliminate your triggers without becoming
an introvert with agoraphobia or agoraphobic tendancies.
I like to think that someday, I will be able to face the world on a daily basis again, but that day isnt today.
But if I make it outside once more today while the sun is shining,,,I will feel better.
Dont drive yourself crazy trying to not upset them.
You have to do, what you have to do, to take care of you!!!!!
They will either respect and understand that or they won't.
Don't let that rule you.
Med's take a while, be patient,,,,like I said, I am not one to talk about patience, but,,,in this case, you have to be, it has to take those highs and lows and find a balance, sometimes, it takes a little while,,,but you will find one.
I will be pullin for ya,
Your friends here(who will be patient with ya)
Good luck.

medications are only a temp fix.deep breathing exercises, working out,a good diet, and getting plenty of b vitamins are important.also stay away from caffeine and alcohol as these add to the problem.unfortunately not having support from your family can make it worse.really you have to get to the root of the problem like when did it start,do certain situations make it worse..etc.its not your fault.i have had panic disorder for a few years now that keep me from doing alot of things i enjoy and thats totally out of my character.panic disorder happens when your fight or flight mechanism goes into over drive from to much stress.your breathing, heart rate, and adrenaline kick in when they shouldn't.try to find a good doctor that specializes in panic disorders as most doctors don't know that much about it and will just dope you up on meds that can actually make it worse.. if you need any advice or just someone to talk to feel free to hit me up. good luck
*edit also i took kolonapin and it help for a little while but not really.my doctor even told me i should only take meds when absolutly neccesary.

My son swears by xanax, for panic attacks...he is on Luvox, for OCD, and when he gets too stressed out, the xanax, in a very small dose, has stopped the panic attacks..good luck, that and a lot of praying
