Spiritual contact?

Question

I have been experiencing things which can not be explained such as knocking on doors my lamp turning itself on etc.

I'm 13 and i'm not sure if spirits may be trying to contact me, although it's a little bit exciting, it makes me very uneasy (especially at night time)

I am facinated by the spiritual world and I strongly believe in psychic ability, but I'd like to know what abilities I have (if any).
I'm not really sure how to find a medium, and I'm quite hesitant to listen to the truth from a profesional, I can't say that it wouldn't freak me out to hear that I had psychic abilities!

There are no spirits. That is superstition.

i am also a spiritualist
and yes spirit may use things at times to get our attention , but like they said , it is easy to get carried away
at your age though in my honest opinion , your own energy is more than enough to make these phenomena happen
teenagers , especially female.... are fighting raging hormones , which bring an excess of energy
and sometimes that energy has nowhere to go , it needs a release etc
so all too often that energy is released in a way that appears to be paranormal ( bumps knocks electrical equipment etc )

this does not mean you cant learn about psychic ability or even mediumistic ability.... but learning is very important before anything else
for now though
just enjoy being a teenager and let that release be a happy normal one xx

Everyone has some psychic abilities, some have more natural talent than others. Sometimes those who have passed on, angels and others will try to alert you to their presence through turning on and off lights, knocking on the door, etc.

Depending on your faith, it would be wise to call upon Arch Angel Michael to surround and protect you from all that is not of your highest good to make sure that no negative or evil spirit will be able to make contact with you.

Understand that demons don't live in a place called hell, they live on Earth and seem like nice everyday human-like creatures and thwy're main purpose is to decieve. Whether they seem nice and convincing or act demonic is irrelevent. They're purpose is to lead you to annihilation (ceasing to exist) after death while convincing you that that's not even possilbe. This began in Eden when the serpent told Eve that she won't really die, but the bible clearly says that the soul that sinneth will die.

Unity's answer is right you may be psychic. Some times when our loved ones pass away they will interfere with the lights to let us know they are watching over us . Good Luck

Some of us naturally have the ability. It likely turned on when you hit puberty. Don't let anyone tell you it's because you were interested you opened doors. That's not how it works. Some of us are natural mediums. We're born that way. We didn't ask for it to happen, it just did. My suggestion would to be start reading about communication with spirits. You have a gift. You can choose to learn about it and use it, or you can choose to learn how to turn it off (some people do choose this because it scares them). Either way it's up to you. My suggestion is to do some research and learn all you can about it.

i have had similiar experiences to you and i know what you mean about the nighttime thing lol
althought the door knocking is probably the next dorr neighbors kida and the light due to dodgy electrics etc etc

you have got to look into yourself and make your own decision

i decided it was spirits and i get moments like you frequently

The Bible teaches against anything dealing with contact with the dead. The inference is that it is possible to do.

My impression is that people like John Edwards may actually be in contact with demons pretending to be the loved ones that are passed away. You get the feeling that the loved ones had nothing to do with God/Jesus, but are enjoying the afterlife just fine. "Hi ... my golf game is improving nicely."

There is a short in your lamp or in the plug that it is in. Get it rewired. And I hear weird sounds every once in a while to. If they bother you, figure out what they are, don't just make silly assumptions.
