I think there is a huge need for a financial resource guide for people in the income bracket of $1200-$2500 for a family of 1-3 people. Specifically regarding healthcare options (because usually these people can't afford private health care, but also don't qualify for subsidized programs). Ditto for school grants. Home loans. Also want to discuss DSHS medical, social security, negotiating with hospitals and doctors on bills if you are self-pay. ***There needs to be a forum for people to discuss the ever-changing policies of these institutions.*** Thinking of starting a yahoogroup specifically for Washington state (since that's where I live, and every place is different) but overall what do you think of this idea, even if you live somewhere else? Is there a need for it? Additional suggestions???

Its always great for people to have resources that apply to their situation. I live in an Idaho-Washington border town (Idaho side) so I can see that there are a lot of people who need to know where to go to get the type of information you're talking about. I'd suggest also having a car buying guide, and an informational section on why payday loans are sooooooo bad.
