Do you think that there is a nice way I can go about this, without making anybody mad. Right now, I really have no time to make any new friends with my job and home business. I just want to come home and work on my home business without any distractions. Can you give me some advice.

Just keep to yourself.
I think you will find that most people are a bit socially paranoid and won't spend the effort trying to meet you, if you don't show any interest in doing so.
But, if you do happen to have a few neigbors come knocking on your door, just politely tell them something to the effect that you don't mean to offend them, but that you try and nap during the day. Thus, they will feel less inclined to come a knocking. ;-)

Avoid contact with other tenants. This includes eye contact. If they speak to you, give short, and I mean short, answers. Don't look at them when answering. Always look busy or distracted.
Walk with a cell phone all the time like you're on a business call. Look a little annoyed.
If you are reasonable certain people around you can hear you if you shout, periodically shout "damn it and all these distractions!"
Stand outside the main front door with copies of Watchtower ;-)

Anti-social much?I understand that you're busy, I really do. But friends can help you through anything, even one true friend is good. You cant be alone forever.
