OK, im 15 years old , 5'5 and i weight 130 pounds. I'm a Female and I am desperately trying to lose 5 pounds but i just CAN'T! I've tried everything!! Dieting, EXTREME amounts of excersise, and it's just not working! i drink plenty of water. My mom got extremely upset when i decided to start losing weight and said i didn't need to, but then again, it's MY MOM : / I have been trying very hard and my body just doesn't want to give it up! Please help..

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

I hate to say it but your mom's right. A good rule of thumb is 5 lbs over 100 for every inch over 5' tall. that puts you at a healthy weight. I don't know what your eating habits are but diets traditionally don't work after your done with them, and you can't starve your body for the nutrients it needs. In my opinion following a healthy diet high in proteins, with good carbs( whole grain), good fats, no sodas, and fruit juices ( maybe 1 OJ a day), they are high in sugar as well, will produce your best results with a consistent exercise program you will be fine. The South Beach diet book does a great job of explaining the way certain foods affect the body if you want to read it. Keep your meals small, frequent (4-6) per day, and healthy. Your body will find a happy balace. Good luck.

shut up u r a stil young u shudnt b dieten on yu age u shud b havin fun w it u m8s not dietin if u not losin weight it is called a plateux an u cant lose the weight 5 pound isnt a difernce much nyway
