Isn't there a glowing ocean some where in the carribeans? if you could send me a link , that would be great!

The bioluminescences is caused by a type of algae called dioflagellates. Some of there algae blooms in the Atlantic are large enough to be seen from spaces. You can see a picture and see more about them at

There are plankton and algae that glow when disturbed by waves or propeller blades. Otherwise, water doesn't glow.
