Liberals are great for this one. They demand freedom for their speech, yet love to shout down anyone who is saying something that they don't want to hear. They demand tolerance for their lifestyles, but are constantly demanding that others can't live as they wish. They create speech codes so that certain words and thoughts are simply forbidden to be said aloud.

So, if you practice what you preach and treat others as you'd wish to be treated, you'll be fine. If you feel the need to constantly throw your ideas in other people's faces just to try to make them uncomfortable, who knows?

You are confused with good reason, but it is the standard consrvative double talk. From what I've seen it is the conservatives that are 'constantly demanding that others can't live as they wish' (gay marriage, abortion, anything to do with any religion other than christianity).

I'm not sure if I'm reading your quote correctly, but if it IS a con saying libs are the ones oppressing; the con you quoted is clearly pulling the same old tired flip-flop double-talk. Reversing the truth completely as an accusation on a topic they know nothing about and have completely backwards.

I think what she is saying that liberals don't want to allow conservatives to say things like "blacks are not as smart as whites" or "illegal immigrants are responsible for crime" or other opinions which are not politically correct. To a certain extent, she has a point. Political correctness is not compatible with free speech. As a libertarian, I believe conservatives should be permitted to insert their feet as far into their mouths as they want.

I don't know where the quote was taken from so I can't elaborate on what she was trying to get across.

I just wish people would stop associating George Bush with Christianity. He drives me nuts.

That seems to be the pot calling the kettle black. Both sides accuse each other of the same things.
