I started seeing this guy. We dated about 5 years ago. Anyway it basically ended with no reason at all. We just stopped calling each other. So he got in touch with me about a month ago. We have been out every Saturday for the past month. We can not see each other during the week because I am at home with my son and he goes to school and works during the week. Anyway, he is talking about future plans for out class reunion and me meeting members of his family and whatnot. My friend is telling me that she thinks I am just a fling but my question is would he be making all these future plans for us if I were just a fling? He calls me everyday-twice a day just to say hi and I really do not think he is seeing anyone else at all. He does not let me pay for anything even though I offer. Can anyone give me any insight on what this is or what we are? I really do like him and I feel like it could be something special....

no it is not a fling --- how would your friend know anyway???
ignore them and concentrate on your relationship --- let it mature and see what happens
