We have always had religion in one form or another. Stonhenge was built by cave men who worshipped the seasons. Some worshipped the sun because they thought it was the giver of life and in a way this is true. We only exist on this planet because we have the sun. There have also been different ways of dealing with their dead. In britain alone there are hundreds of burrows which are burial mounds. others laid their dead on platforms believing that the carrion birds would take their dead body to the after world. Then long before we practised it others would burn their dead.

The same place as where Adam went. From dust you came to dust you shall return. It is still the same place now--notwithstanding the many religions around us. The Bible says that the dead knows nothing at all ( Ecclesiastes 9:5,10)

If you want to prove this truthfulness, open a tomb and ask the occupant there. See if he/she answers you.

Why would dead people go anywhere at that time and even today!! Once a person is dead its over, there is nuthin after that, dont believe in crap like hell and heaven. Believe in pure science, thats the truth, all these afterlife and stuff, things u hear are fiction stories created by man himself!

The same place they go now. Religion is an artifically created set of myths that try to answer questions that frighten people. The reality is so vast and incomprehensible that our meager attempts to reduce God to something that we understand is a generally silly endeavor, and only serves those who profit from people's fears and desires. Never confuse religion and reality.

Presumably you think that the "invention" of religion makes any difference at all to whether the afterlife exists or not.
If there is an afterlife PPL will go there whether religion exists or not. It makes no difference.

Nobody knew the answer to this question and that is why religion was created.

Unfortunately this changed nothing and they still do not know where they go.

They usually became great entrees for their fellow humans. No one hesitated to get some spare ribs and a good marrow soup in those days.
