Actually Jesus was left to be fully human while on the cross, without which his death would have been useless for our sins. Christ was left by God, to feel death in its fullness for you and I. He was given up as the only begotten Son of God, to die for our sins. Beautiful He was willing to that, knowing what we would become, non believers, incredulent and sinners yet.
Thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of Christ, God bless you always.

As the others above have stated that Jesus was just quoting Psalms 22. The first one third of psalms is largely prophetic psalms 22 is no different . it predicted in no uncertain terms that Christ would be crucified, how he would be ,and what the roman soldiers would be doing while that was going on. So when Christ quoted psalms 22 from the cross it was his way of saying " i am the messiah that was to come" teaching the bible with his last few breaths. What a man ! What a man !

God is the giver of life, Jesus was perfect, had no sin. Witch means he would not have died, even to day he would not of died. Not of old age or sickness. He would of raigned forever. When life the father, left he died. I often wonder if the son Jesus said why have u forsaken me, cuss his prayers wasn't answered. Its like u r looking to someone for help, but no answer. He prayed 3 times unto his father,(the one who can do all things) to stop the cross and for anouther way. matthew 26:39,42,44. I wonder if he was still asking. A man of all faith, and trust in God a perfect person. Being let down.

Not that God had abandoned Him, but that He was now separated from His Father by our sins that He carried on the cross. That was why He asked "Father, why have You forsaken Me?". Sin always separates a person from God, but Jesus is now able to reconcile us to God.

--Was there a voice from heaven that said, you are doing fine, keep up the good work--AS WAS at his baptism, transfiguration!
--NO!
--DID JESUS have any comfort from the holy spirit to protect him from pain, anguish etc. AS THE holy spirit as God's "active force" or "dynamic energy"--protected him from inheriting any of Mary's genes, that would have imparted imperfection to his earthly body!---NO!
--SO THEN what he did in dying for us was the same opportunity that Adam would have had as a perfect person!---BUT of course Adam was a traitor to the human family!
--SO INDEED he was abandoned totally on his own and proved to be the greatest loyalist of God that ever existed!

Yes,though He knew He had to take the sins of the world upon His shoulders all alone in order to make a way to salvation for humanity.

at one point,
wich is why he yelled.
"My GOD, why have you forsaken me"
you gotta realize, when crucified, it takes 3 days to die.
divine or not, that is unimaginable torture.
