I didn't want to get involved in the same ole same ole. But for the first time i will say this. Compared to people i know very little of the bible. But even with the little knowledge i have of it i realize that man does not have what it takes to orchestrate a book as complex as the bible. And it takes more than superficial reading to find that this is true. I don't care what atheists say. I am saying I HAVE found this to be true. I also have witnessed to much prophesy come to pass not to believe it is god inspired . and i don't care what atheist think of that either. I am just saying these are my humble opinions.

Because, the Bible says about their authors, that they didn't wrote from their minds, but they were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God!
Not a part of it, not some of the books....but all of the words, from all the books from the Bible!
So, the Christians believe this because the Bible declares it, and the Bible is the supreme authority for Christianity- being God's words for his creation!
i hope i gave you a clue at least! ...keep searching

It is not that mortals "wrote" the Bible, rather documented it! The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

Because it is! God wrote it through His people. God is Spirit but He used human hands. The Bible was written for humans so God chose humans to be His "scribes."
When you have a relationship with God, you'll notice Him telling you things that line up with the Bible. I've had Him tell me things that I had never heard of before and then "stumbled" upon those very same things when reading the Bible. It's always exciting when that happens! Yeah, God wrote it!

The Bible of The True Christian Faith is not intended for the non-believer... Only those open to the leading of God, through The Holy Spirit, will find what He has for them there.
The"original" texts of upon which The Bible was founded were directly inspired by God... and inerrant... they were written by men God chose and directed.... none of the original texts exist today...as far as any one knows.

The Bible is the inspired word of God, man is needed to write it down, it is the Word of God.
But then again why would other authors need someone to write things down, oh wait, they do, even science text books are revised by others, I know because i have written for a text before.
All things are revised and written by others, even when the inspiration came from one.
Thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of Christ, God bless you always.

I have asked myself that question many times and my father believed the same thing...however, I think they believe it the books of the Bible were written in a man's hand while each man was being told what to say by God. Basically it was God's words but their hands were the instruments. The problems I have with it is that the Bible has been translated enough that some of it has likely been misinterpreted, that there is more than one version of it and I believe things were left out to suit each church promoting it...but there is no way to prove that.

All Holy Books were written (the act of writing words on a piece of papyrus or paper) by mortals (=human beings).
I'm not going to discuss if they were inspired, ordered from above or in whatever state they were at the moment of writing. You decide.

Over 50 inspired "mortals" wrote 66 volumes over a period of 1500 years, and NOT ONE VERSE is contradictory... (every verse brought up by the skeptics annotated bible has been proven to be non-contradictory, but of course, they won't tell you or show you that)
now, how can that NOT be the Word of God? (BTW, genesis was not written by Moses, but rather edited by him, and it has God's "fingerprint" all throughout the book... pretty cool.)

A question I've been wondering the answer to for a long time. Christians claim that God showed up to the people who wrote the Bible and told them what to write.
