The Holy Spirit was with Jesus since conception, guiding Him, teaching Him.
But it wasn't until the day He was baptized that He received His annointing, giving Him power and authority.

Well if you're referring to the trinity, the father, son and holy spirit were always connected- always one. But as far as in Jesus' ministry, John 1:32 says Then John gave his testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him..." Shortly thereafter Jesus calls his disciples and changes water into wine, the first 'sign' of his ministry.

well if you go for the triune God theory, which I do, they have been connected for all time.
"And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets."

During his baptism. The Holy Spirit ascended on him like a dove. And that's why I don't believe in the trinity. It's something that happened later in his life. They did become unified, but they are not the same thing.

According to some gospels, at his baptism (John 1:32). According to others, at his conception (Matthew 1:18 and by implication Luke 1:35).

They always were, but most visibly when John the Baptist baptized Him, and it appeared as a Dove and said, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased."Mt 17:5
