It is very popular in Europe.You mail a postcard to someone and you receive a postcard from another user.(Not the same as you mailed to).
So you get in touch with different places on earth, and lots of beautiful postcards.

Interesting that this is popular in Europe! I had not heard of this for many years!

When I was a child, I participated in a chain letter of sorts, one that was approved by the postal service and was legal ... (this was in the U.S.). You received a letter with 7 names and directions on it. You mailed a postcard to the top two people, sent the letter on to 7 people, took the top name off and added your own on the bottom. Over the course of a year (and receiving the letter 3 times) I ended up with a shoebox of postcards from all over North America. It was cool!
