Interesting question and it can be taken one of two ways. Was Jesus born to accomplish a task? My answer: Yes. OR Was Jesus always aware of his mission? My belief is that he was not fully aware of his mission in life. But on the day of before the Transfiguration is when he was made fully aware of his mission and accepted his role. He was after all human and divine. It has been debated for many years exactly when in Jesus's life he was made aware of his own divinity.

Yes, according to his own words.

Luke 4:43. He came to preach God's Kingdom.

Matthew 20:28. He came to provide a ransom for many.

Jesus didn't know anything when He was born. If you study the Bible, you'll see that He knew His purpose when He was 12 years old, in the temple. He said, "...didn't you know I would be in my Father's house?..." After He knew his purpose, then He was on a mission.

Yes. There is always someone born to do a mission.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was here to bring people together and to stop racism.

Tupac, was here to bring certain issues to society and change music.

There is always someone who is born to change something about the society and open doors for others following them.

Yes, He knew all along why He was here, to save the world from our sins. He died on the cross so we may have eternal life.

Nope he was not, he was no different than any other rebel we have today, we simply don't nail ours to a cross, we take ours out with guns a little fire, and the odd shot in the arm.
