A man who is recently separated from an ex-girlfriend may not be emotionally ready to take on a new romantic relationship. Depending on how long he was in his last relationship and how serious it was, it could take at least a couple of months to resolve personal issues. Befriend him but do not force yourself on him until he gives you some verbal and/or social cue that he is ready to resume dating.

It depends on the person. Everybody is diffrent. I take awhile. But my brothers get with somebody else right away. You have to asses the situation yourself. Gage how his emotional state is. Use your better judgment. The worst thing people can do is rush into something right after breaking up with another. My brother did that. Now he's with a very evil woman.

That's IMPOSSIBLE to say because everyone heals differently. I'd say if he broke up with her, he'll probably be ready for another relationship sooner than if he was dumped but definitely give it a little more time before making a move or you'll just end up being his rebound girlfriend.

I think you should let him know that you like him, but please please please take it slow! I once broke up with someone and got with someone two days later, it went horribly wrong and only lasted a week because it didn't feel like i had come out of a relationship so i was too full on. Give him some time and start spending more time with him but don't make any moves just yet!

Ask him out even if it's just as friends. If his relationship lost it's pizazz a while ago then he's ready for fun with someone new. Don't miss the opportunity - but don't be pushy or expectant - just fun loving.

Give him time,he won't really want to get involved yet, be a friend to him for the time being, don't complicate the situation . You will know in time, WHEN and IF he is ready to try another relationship.Have paitence it is usually a virtue.

well it depends how long they were going out. and also if he really liked her then it would take a while . i had a bf for like a year and it took me like 6 months to get over him so it really is about how much u like him and how long uve been going out
XD hope that helps.

Maybe just ask him flirtyish and wear some cute outfits with some fashion items you can wear. Make your self look cool and hot or something.

It may be better to just have some conversations with him to see where his head is before you try going out with him.
