Any day is a perfect barbecue day. Even in the dead of winter, cook outside.....eat inside.

I read that about 50% of people cookout all year around. For us it's an "endless season." Our kids took a photo on our deck a couple of years ago - 22 inches of untouched snow, except for the path cut from the door directly to the grill. :-)

We use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. It has an adjustment that factors in the outside temperature (when cooking on a covered grill) and it gives precise grilling times and instructions for how to grill steaks, chicken breasts, pork chops, burgers, etc. to the doneness you want. It also has grilling tips.

Happy Grilling!

Already has for us!!
First glimmer of sunshine and we got the patio furniture out and fired up the barbecue.
Yummy!!
I love the lazy long light evenings with a glass of wine and some sausages and spicy chicken
Long may it last!

Most people BBQ during the summer so they can eat outside and not heat up or mess up the house. But, hey, I have used my BBQ in January. That is the middle of winter where I live in Canada. P.S. I have already started. Our snow is gone on the east coast. I am going to BBQ tonight. Pork chops. Awesome.

I've dug my BBQ out of 6 feet of snow to use it, so I'd say there is no offseason if you are willing to brave the elements for a delicious steak!

I live in South Dakota and in the apartment building my ex husband lives in, people were grilling out in snow and cold. I think it typically starts whenever the weather starts warming up, even if it is just one night in the middle of winter. I think people should grill all year 'round!

We bbq year round--even with snow on the ground. Spring is considered the time when bbq season officailly opens though! Happy grilling!
