There is some proposal to make Bank Holidays 'in addition' to the 20 days legal minimum Holiday entitlement (for full time employees) = currently the Employer is allowed to include the (8) Bank Holidays as part of the 20.

As far as I am aware, this has not yet gone through.

Only 2 bank holidays Qualify for double time wages, Good Friday & christmas Day, all the rest are by local agreement (uk)

There should not be any change but some there has been a problem reported with BACS payments for wages.
