I made hamburger barbeque today and put it in a bowl. I was going to put it in the fridge but I got distracted and forgot about it. It was on the counter for about 1 1/2 hours and wasn't warm anymore. I put it in the fridge but I don't know if it is still good.

i saw on the cooking channel you should never refrigerate hot foods, you should let them cool completely and then put in the fridge. so you should be fine. when you refrigerate hot foods, they tend to grow bacteria.

IF IT DOES HAVE AN UNPLEASANT ODOR OR SMELL UNUSUAL, NUKE IT IN THE MICROWAVE ON HIGH POWER FOR 5 - 7 MINUTES (OR UNTIL IT IS UP TO 375 DEGREES OR SO) TO KILL ANY POSSIBLE BACTERIA.
