It seems at least once a month they come and knock on my door at 9:00 in the freakin' morning when I'm still asleep and or hung over

I prefer to use my Weekends to sleep/party/work on my Blazer so please I couldn't possibly be at Church on a Sunday at 9:00 am on top of that I just don't believe in Heaven or Hell

understand this I don't force my beliefs on people so I don't want their beliefs forced upon me it's that freakin' simple... On top of that 9:00 is just too damn early for the weekends

Try answering the door buck naked next time. They may give up after that. Or, answer the door and start shoving pamphlets about stuff that you believe in at them.

Maybe you should move. I see these questions all the time and I can't seem to understand just where these Bible thumpers operate. I've lived in the same house for 7 years haven't seen a Bible Thumper even one time.

Perhaps if you were to ask them for a calling card you would find that they are most likely either Mormon or Jehovah Witnesses. Who by the way are not the fundies you associate them with. I would say that if it is an Evangelical type he or she has been directed to your door because someone has prayed for you to be saved. You may want to talk to friends and relatives about your sleep being disturbed.

I'm not a Bible thumper but I think it's rude to even call someone before 9am much less knock on your door.
Try putting a sign on your door...No solicitors (even if they're soliciting the Bible) allowed.
Or borrow a big dog and chain it within biting distance of your front door.

There are only a couple of religions that do that, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses are two of the biggest culprits, as a Christian I have never knocked on any ones door for this reason. Go to You Tube and watch the video of Door to Door Atheist, it is soooooo funny.

Make a sign with a red circle and slash over a copy of the Watchtower or insist they recite the Pledge of Alliegance before they went any further. As they go to their car pester them about donating blood and keep on yammering.

While, that would be a mormon or a Jeavoh Witness. Not a Christian. So they get up early so they can confuse people into thinking that they are speaking the death. So don't answer your door.

Apparently the word of god only works on Saturday mornings. I'm not sure where it says that in the bible, but you know those bible thumpers, they'll make up anything they want.

I knew someone who kept them away by asking whether they wanted to discuss the Holy or Satanic bible, but I'm not sure I'd suggest that route--they might take you up on it.
