The firehouse rotisserie is fantastic, located on the bristol harbourside (check out on the link below). BUT it's not a thai restaurant. For a great Thai, you HAVE to go into Bath (only 20-30 mins drive from Bristol), check out either Mai Thai or Sala Thai in the city centre. Both are brilliant!! (links also below).
If you must stay in Bristol, and must have a thai, then go into Clifton, there are a number of places, i would suggest perhaps Bangkok House at 70 Whiteladies Road. Not sure if they have a website but their number is 0117 9730409. I've only eaten there once and had a Pad Thai. It was great!
Hope this helps..!

Yes I can. there are several but we have just discovered a new one that has fantastic food and is reasonably priced.
It is called Bangkok House. on Witeladies road. It used to be the premises of a chinese restaurant. they have done it all up and it has a lovely atomsphere. Lots of carvings and amazing 3d carved tables topped in glass so you can see the details.
The menu has all you would expect to see. but they do everything with a flourish...for instance order satay and it comes with a burner on which to heat/cook them further!
They have a great cocktail menu too, reasonably priced wine.
They have set menus and a la cate too.
Starters include the satay I mentioned, fishcakes, chicken wings, sesame toasts and so on, or you can have one of those platters with a bit of all and of course the usual thai soups.
Then mains, good selections, meat, fish, shellfish, salads. Wonderful mixtures and a good range of blow your head off hot and really cool! So ideal for family gatherings and ok for kids if you choose carefully.
Everything was delicious and tasty even by thai standards.
They even have a wonderful selection of thai desserts. Like pumpkin custard, tropical fruit platter, bananas in coconut milk or fried in coconut, also ice creams and sorbet.
Teas coffes and mints to end a perfect meal!
Service is fantastic and even the bill didnt break the bank.
They do take away too.Getting very popular as people "find it" we went two weeks running it was so good.
Good luck hope you enjoy it!

Have a look at this site.
Thai Palace is fair but I haven't found any that are as good as Suan Thai in Romesy. If you're in Hampshire give it a try and you'll see what I mean.
