it's for the third party program for my online game..I want it to be running even though I turned my computer off.

Generally not, if I understand your question.

You could have something being done on a "server" while your computer is turned off, but that isn't at all the same thing.

Can't be done. Even though the game is on the net, the program keeping it running would have to be on your computer, and that won't run once your computer is turned off. And I really, seriously doubt that the game company will allow you to install anything on their servers.

Computer off? Of course not. Off means that it's off. While some computers supply a little power to the machine, it can't be used for running programs.

You'll need to leave your computer on. Some machines have a lower power mode, but not all.

No!Your PC can't have a program running as long as the motherboard or RAM or Processor isn't turned on

Only if the program is not running from your PC or as long as it doesn't need your PC to work properly

It is obviously impossible. The computer can not run if it is shut off.

No.

If your PC can go into Standby or Hibernation mode, and the BIOS supports "Wake on LAN", google for: "Wake on LAN" to wake the PC up.
