I agree... Bristol is the best short track on the circuit and I really, really hope they don't screw it up between now and the Aug. race. I still can't believe there going to tear it up and rebuild it. Between the other 2, Richmond wins my vote over Martinsville. Don't get me wrong, Martinsville puts on some great, great racing! But the night races @ Richmond are always X'ed on my calendar!

martinsville, i just got back from there today. i love camping there every april weekend. i don't go in october because it's too cold. i go to every richmond busch and cup race, and unlike bristol or martinsville, it's a 2 groove track, they run side by side all the way around the track. the down side is, the crowd is more white collar, so the tailgating sucks compared to martinsville. i've only been to bristol once, and personally, i didn't think it was a very exciting race. i went to the one that kurt busch won the next week after jimmy spencer punched him out at michigan. the boos when he won were deafening, that was actually pretty funny. everything there is way more expensive too. the ticket was $90(and i heard they're over $100 now), parking was $50, and hotel an hour from the track was $150 per night. (wythville, va). another thing that puts martinsville over the top is cheap tickets on the backstretch. $42 and $47, and they're great seats.

and BTW, why does everyone here keep calling rockingham a short track? it's over a mile. it's the same size as dover, phoenix, and new hampshire

Definately Bristol. More specifically, Bristol under the lights! All NASCAR tracks are different and exciting. But Bristol brings it all! The enclosed stadium type setting creates the atmosphere for "THUNDER VALLEY." The fans, the close racing (rubbing is racing, folks), the "heat" between the drivers, the emotion. It's just the best. And, when they put the show under the lights in August, it's the greatest show on earth. I'm sorry, but even the Super Bowl don't have anything on it. NASCAR just needs to add better commercials to it. Than we'd have even more to rave about.

I would say definately Bristol. I have been to the spring race twice now and can't wait to go back again. We stayed at a campground and all the other race fans were awesome. Everyone is so friendly there. I dont think their is a bad seat in the house. You can also take your cooler and relax and enjoy short track at its best.. Thunder Valley all the way!!!

Well the top 3 would be: Bristol,Richmond,Martinsville.
We need more short tracks.
That's all I have to say about that.
