It depends on where you live. I started cadding at age nine. I usually make $35 dollars a round and make up to $100 during tournements. It would be best if you know how to play, because the rules come in handy.

You need to b old enough to carry a bag for 18 holes, but caddies are pretty much non-existent these days, except at the super-exclusive golf clubs. Professionals use caddies and that job pays pretty well, depending on how well your pro plays. Steve Williams (Tiger's caddy) clears six figures easily, but earns his pay.
A caddy usually earns a tip, in addition to a set rate for each round he works. For example, the club might pay you 10$ for a loop, but you could earn $50 as a tip, depending on how helpful and courteous you are to the player.
The basic rules for caddying are:
Show up
Keep up
Shut up.

you can be a caddy if you have a note from your parents allowing you to work, but 13 or 14 is kinda young, but it can be done, but it depends on where you live, if it is safe or not. If you live in a high end neighborhood with a high end golf chorus the person you pay for can be very gererous, or vise versa.
