If it looks a little like coffee grounds, it's blood.

But don't freak out. People will get bloody stool occasionally without it being something dire like colon cancer. Sometimes just a sickness like food poisoning will do it. You: alcohol poisoning, and the flu... definitely sounds temporary.

The advice I've heard is to wait three days. If it lasts longer than three days, THEN go see a doctor.

The one exception is if you start feeling feverish or confused, which could be blood poisoning, and needs to be dealt with immediately.

Use common sense, and you'll be ok. :) Good luck!

Black stools can indicate two things undigested iron OR digested blood. You know if you have been taking extra iron. The later would indicate you have a GI bleed and you need to call the doctor ASAP. NOW!

Bloody stools often indicate an injury or disorder in the digestive tract. Your doctor may use the term "melena" to describe black, tarry, and foul-smelling stools or "hematochezia" to describe red- or maroon-colored stools.
Consult a Gastroenterologist.

Usually that means too much iron in your body, Since you overdose on alcohol this could have a lot to do with it.
I would suggest you get in to see the doctor and find out what type of damage you have done to your stomach and insides.

Do you want to die..................
