I'm 13, i weigh 140 lbs, and i'm 5"5. I want to lose at least 25lbs. Can you give me a few guidelines please?? what foods/exercises etc.and the do's and don't's of dieting...Thank You!!

dont think about calories. just think 'is this healthy for me?" and only eat whats good for you.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

sweet heart your thirteen please be careful when dieting you can damage your growth!!!

do it gradually and sensibly then it will last its worth the wait.

drink water and excercise the best thing to do is SWIM and DANCE just grab a cd lock your door and dance for an hour its fun and therefore wont feel like a chore.

good luck but dont obsese over your weight !!!!

Do eat the right foods in moderation with excersice. Don't overdo it.
