Nothing's happened to English grammar. It's still there but being ignored by a whole generation raised on rap & gangsta lyrics (based on ghetto language/ebonics) and a pop culture which glorifies being uneducated, crude, "blinged out", and slutty. Each generation has it's own rebellious culture and each previous generation thinks that they (the young ones) are all going to h-e-l-l in a handbasket.

I don't speak that way. I think it just has to do with the culture of one's peer group as to how people talk. It might be "cool" to talk that way, but it makes one sound ignorant. I tell my son, who happens to be very intelligent, that when he cusses too much, it makes him sound less intelligent, and that if he wants to be respected for having a brain, then it would be to his advantage to cuss less so that he can gain that respect. Same goes with poor use of the English language. Talking the way a peer group does might be fashionable, but it is not respectable if it butchers the English language.

Because it's just as readily understood as "Who impregnated you?" and the main job of grammar is to make words understandable.
