God recognizes your marriage if you are marrying before God in your heart. God IS love, and knows us through our hearts. If you are marrying for any other reason, love would not be in your heart.

God married Adam and Eve. This was when the institution of marriage was first created. It came from God. I think anyone that is licensed by the state you live in can marry you. It does not have to be a Priest, Pastor, Rabbi, Reverend, but most people prefer it when they are married in a Church or Temple.

God married Adam and Eve. He is the High Priest of all High Priests.
Personally I think a marriage is recognizable in the eyes of God if it is performed by one having authority to act in the name of God.

Well, if a priest didn't marry Adam and Eve, then who gave the authority to the priest to marry people in the name of God?
I mean, there is broken logic in your question, if you're saying that God couldn't have married Adam and Eve because a priest is the one who has authority...then God is the one to have given the authority to a priest to marry people in His name.
Are you saying that priests really don't have any authority to marry today because God hasn't directly given the priesthood to anyone?

God married Adam and Eve. When a couple is married in a church they are making a vow with God. It is that vow which they make that is supposed to be honored.
When people are married in a civil ceremony they are making a vow to God also to remain pure and true to each other and to God.,
Throughout out history it became a common ground to let a priest or Rabbi bless the marriage.

Well, you can have a binding marraige through the justice of the peace, captain fo a ship, anyone licensed by the state as clergy.... But it really doesn't matter who is standing in front of you, it has to do with the oath you take before God. Marraige was established by Him for two reasons:
1) When Adam and Eve were created they were made as compliments, that is, what one lacked the other had, and together they were a whole unit, a union both physical and spiritual. There is no room for a third. That idea kind of got lost as time went on and men came to abuse the relationship for selfish means. Jesus came and rectified that, re-establishing the true form of marraige, going so far as rejecting all excuses for separation except the other person doing the leaving or the other person's infidelity. Paul in the book of Corinthians also elaborates how God defines love and marraige.
With a new covenant with God, in Jesus, it was also important to rectify because
2) marraige was also established to give us a typecast of what our relationship with God is supposed to be like, where as we are the bride and Jesus is the groom. A man who wants to know jus how he is supposed to take care of his family should look at the relationship Jesus formed with His church, starting with His selfless sacrifice and flawless obedience to God.
So, no matter what the location looks like, God takes the oath you make very seriously

Everyone here will no doubt tell you that God married Adam and Eve. And he did.
God expects his worshipers to be submissive to the law of the land. Romans 13:1-7. Therefore, whatever laws in your land are on the books for legal marriage, those ought to be obeyed.
Moreover, Hebrews 13:4 admonishes Christians: let marriage be honorable among all. When a marriage is legally performed and legally registered, it is honorable among all people - even those who may not submit themselves to God. In this way, true Christians submit themselves to God, to the law of the land and bring honor and glory to God, giving no cause for unbelievers to have a basis upon which to comment negatively.

I don't know....but I am pretty sure a marriage is more about the relationship and commitment to the other person. Not some legal arrangement. I don't recall reading in the Bible where it says you need a judge, and a priest, etc. I personally feel that if you are committed to one another, and committed to God, you can pray together and be married before the eyes of God....
