Alcohol is better. Here's why:
It’s been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 Liter of water each day, at the end of the year we will have absorbed more than 1 Kilo of the Escherichia Coli bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1Kilo of poop!

However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, vodka, beer or other liquors) because alcohol has to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and fermenting.

Conclusion:

Water = Poop

Wine = Health

Free yourself of poop………… DRINK WINE!!!
It’s better to drink wine & talk s h i t – than to drink water and be full of s h i t.

No need to thank me for this valuable information; I do it as a “public service”!

Have a great day!

It's not the alcohol in wine that is good, it is some of the other chemicals in wine (flavanoids) that give us the health benefits. Alcohol is only the preservative that makes it possbile to keep fermented grapes for long periods of time without referigeration.

The same is true of beer. Beer is nutritional. The only difference between bread and beer is; bread is baked and will not keep for more than 1 or 2 weeks, whereas beer will keep much longer (if stored properly).

As for harder liquors -- that is an example of mankind carrying a good thing (fermentation in wine and beer) to the next level for his own purposes. Again -- it's not the alcohol that is the good thing. A preservative for preservation's sake only, doesn't make much sense.

I think you are referring to Mediterranean countries such as France, Spain and Italy, where large amounts of red wine are consumed. Red wine is rich in antioxidants and phenolic constituents such as resveratrol and flavonoids. Resveratrol, found in grape skins and seeds, increases HDL cholesterol and prevents blood clotting. Flavonoids exhibit antioxidant properties helping prevent blood clots and plaque formation in arteries. It is NOT the alcohol in the wine that is good for you, quite the contrary: Studies showed that alcohol drinking may increase triglycerides (and other bad blood lipids) and result in weight gain due to its empty calories. Other studies also suggested that alcohol consumption is associated with cancer risk. The benefits of red wine can now be gained in supplement form, so that the alcohol does not need to be consumed. To reiterate: the health benefits of red wine are related to its nonalcoholic components!

Water, on the otherhand, is obviously essential to human beings: we would die very quickly without it!

Alcohol is good for you in moderation, example, a glass of wine or a beer a night. But who cares if it is good for you or not, it is damn tasty and it feels great!
