No wonder Christians are losing followers every day. These people are disgusting.

Christians refuse to acknowledge that people like this share the same religion with them. They tell us we can't judge christianity by the actions of a few extremists. Then they turn around and find the most appalling examples of depravity they can find (such as the earlier post about a man raping his daughter) and blame it on those of us who don't worship and say it is all our fault.
Can you say hypocrite?

There is only one problem with christianity. It is called a many of things, but it is only one, It is the JUDGING of others. If everytime a person (all people not just christians) pointed that finger inward instead of outward, it would be a different world. I attended church because my granddaughter(8) was singing a solo. The pastor bashed a couple of religions and insulted a couple of famous people for their beliefs. When I pointed this out to my daughter she said it would be wrong for us to ignore the wrongdoings of others, and my answer, It would not be wrong it would be not judging, If people stopped judging others what an easier life it would be here for all.

This guy's only followers are his family. His church is estimated to have only 70 - 90 members. He is so far beyond lunatic fringe that many Christians suspect he's a plant to make us look bad.

He is disgusting and I am deeply ashamed and appalled that he calls himself a Christian (interestingly enough he believes that pretty much only him and his followers are going to heaven, the rest of us are damned to hell for being so unjudgemental)

I can't even think about this guy without wanting to squirt acid out my eyes.

God doesn't hate anyone and Christians should know that. That is not the new voice of Christianity. It's a family that does not understand God is Love. People have tried to stop them but freedom of speech allows them to spew their hate.

May God Bless you.

These people were in my state yesterday, protesting at a funeral for a young man who was killed in Iraq. I don't like to use the word "hate" in regard to people, but this would be one time that I could.

No, they are not representative of most Christians - at least I don't think so. That would be like saying terrorists are representative of all Muslims.

I don't believe the Lord is losing anything. In fact...our love grows more fervent daily.
It's sad to see the platform of Christianity used to propagate hatred.
You should look at it this way...it will help you....
God is not to blame for the foolishness of some people..

There are radicals in every religion. We have Islamic terrorists who believe Allah approves of murder. We have these idiots who believes God approves of bigotry. Problem is we judge religion by the bad examples.......they get the press coverage. Instead societies need to step up and show the good sides of religion and condem those who are.....shall we say, outside of the fold.
