I believe it's true. When you're in a relationship with someone it's best not to spend all of your time with them because eventually you'll get sick of each other. If you give yourself a few days from seeing or speaking to your significant other...you'll notice how much you care about that person and realize how much they mean to you.

It can, but it can also push people away. Depends on the person and the situation.
My boyfriend and I don't get to see each other all the time, but it makes it better. On the other hand, my ex husband went to Russia on a business trip and it pulled us away from each other.

Being apart from somebody you love sometimes lets you think about how you really feel about them, but doesn't make you love them any more or less than you already do.
I was separated from the one I love for 25 years.

well there is a saying that says something like: "you don't appreciate something unless it's gone" so I think once a person is gone you will start missing him/her and have more feeling for him/her!
