what sort of punishments would i face for internet gambling at pokerstars.com. I am 18 and the legal gambling age in iowa is 21. Is it ok for me to gamble with this site? What punishments could i face if caught? How would they catch me?

To my understanding there is no federal law...yet...that prohibits internet gambling. However, there is a bill before legislation to do just that.

Internet gambling has been made illegal. I am not sure what you would face but besides that you are under age. They can track internet gamblers just like they track internet child porn people. It's not the same thing at all but you might get caught and not sure what would happen. You know gambling is an addiction like alcohol or drugs.. Right?
