That's funny! But I believe some people have started to think about that. Christianity, and many other religions, are obsessed with death, dying, the afterlife. They are more concerned with what will happen after death than living. So it makes sense they'd pick the cross. Recently, they've been sporting the cute fish emblem.

But the cross wouldn't bother Jesus. Death for Jesus was just a really bad weekend. If I could resurrect at will, I'd call in dead to work many times.

DO NOT Worship that Cross, and there is no problem. The Cross of Christ ALWAYS goes before a Christians life. Without that Cross there would be no Saving Grace and Forgiveness of sins because that is where Christ handed Satan his defeat, and conquered Death, Hell, and the Grave.
Worship Christ and NOT IDOLS and people.

Yes - because He went to the cross "for the joy set before Him" This was His ultimate victory!! In dying, He defeated sin and death, allowing for all His children to be reunited with Him once and for all. The cross is the ultimate symbol of the ultimate victory!!

I love this question.

I once asked "If Jesus was beheaded, would you wear a bloody axe or a guillotine instead of a cross?"

Now THAT got some good answers.

I agree that is like getting shot then your friend is waving a gun in his hand...I wouldnt want to see that would make me flinch.

Why would you wear an item around your neck that someone died on?

Our church doesn't use crosses because it is something used to remind you that He died. We don't use them because we know He is alive.
