Can I still claim to be a full-year resident in PA ? I only had that job for 2 months and I was commuting between NJ and PA for it and had given my friend's email address in NJ for that job.

If you actually worked in NJ, you'd have to file a return there in any case. If you used a friend's NJ address when you worked there (email addresses don't have states, so I assume you meant his/her street address) you'll end up with a lot of explaining to do if you now try to claim you weren't really a resident - and from a tax standpoint, it probably won't make any difference.

File a Resident PA return and a nonresident NJ return.

Taxes you pay to NJ will be credited on your PA return, so do the NJ return first.

yes, you declare PA residency but might have to file a NJ state return since the income was from NJ
