My parents accountant told them they could get a copy of this form online, but he didn't tell them where to go. They need one already filled out with their info. not a blank form. They never got theirs in the mail from the IRS. Any help would be great, thank you!

I am a CPA specializing in 1041s. You can obtain a blank copy of the Schedule K-1 here - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1041sk1.pdf . However, you are looking for the completed copy for your parents. The IRS does not send Schedule K-1's rather they are sent by the fiduciary of the estate (executor) or trust (trustee), who sends a copy to the IRS (with the 1041) and to the beneficiaries. You should contact this fiduciary and find out if they filed a 1041 and have them send you a copy of your Schedule K-1. They are required to furnish this to the beneficiaries by the due date of the 1041 or they are subject to penalties. If you are not sure who this is, it should be the same person who sent your parent their distributions. I doubt this is going to be online due to privacy issues. The Schedule K-1 has Social Security numbers as well as financial information that you would not want in the public domain.

Whoever prepared the Form 1041 return must generate the K-1(s) and send it to each beneficiary. It does NOT come from the IRS. If their accountant prepared the return, he would be the one to prepare the K-1 and hand it to them.
