Anytips on removing/replacing the windshield on a 2002 Grand AM SE? Also, anyone know where to purchase the window gasket and which type sealant is the best?

Without going into great detail on the use of hot sealant, pay someone to do it.

Removing a windshield is not a job for just anyone. You might damage the pinchweld, causing rust. You also need to use a special urethane caulk that's strong enough to hold the window in place when the airbags go off or the car rolls over (heaven forbid). In short, buying a roll of butyl is asking for a serious problem, and a lawsuit for you because you installed the windshield wrong. Take it to a competent glass installer to do this for you. The costs will be minimal.

Modern day cars use glue to hold windshields in place. Be sure that it is installed properly. Let a glass guy do it. The windshield is part of the crashworthiness of a car in a rollover.
Alos the windshield must be anchored correctly in case the airbag deploys. If the windshield pops out you die.
