Have that ever happened to you?
it's been 5 months now since I am out of a desastrous relationship with my ex-gf ...well, it happens where I'm still thinking of her ..We have been together for 10 months ...But, now I think I have started to move on, I'm trying, after 5 months, to get out of myself and try to get out with other people ..not necessarily , people, that I'm crazily in love with, but, people that I appreciate without any feelings involved ...Last night, I went out with a girl, I met recently ...she's really a cool and great person, I'm not in love with her, but I appreciate her and likes to be with her because she's someone really nice in character and no so a bad girl either ..but, it happened yesterday, while, I was eating at the same restaurant I used to eat with my ex , thoughts of my ex-gf, comes around again ..!! I was thinking of my ex while I was with her ...Is that normal of your ex while you are with someone else ...?

yes, just don't call out Your ex's name, please!
It is so wonderful, as You may enjoy them both the present and the past at the same time, then You may also think of a total stranger You just seen the other day and enjoy the three of them!
hehehe
it happens and is perfectly normal, that is the way human brain-sex connection works, no remorse, no regrets...
Your Ex's most likely is experiencing such thoughts/memories too and is also normal, nothing to worry about...
Just please Do Not go back to Your ex...
Good luck, bear hugs! ;-)

It is 100% normal. You spent a lot of time in the relationship -- of coarse the girl is going to cross your mind. Don't feel badly about this, it happens to everyone. Plus you seem to be moving on in a healthy way by taking it slow.

Sounds like your not ready to move on. You can tell yourself that you are ready, but it does not appear to be the case. What should you do? Well you can either give it time to move on and spend time alone in hopes that you will completely move on and find someone else. Or call her up on the phone and try to patch things up. These things take time.

Only if I'm with somebody else that I'm pissed off at and I'm looking to make a bad comparisson for the purpose of being evil.

I often 'think of my ex' while I'm with my 'current husband' ... usually to the 'ex's' DISADVANTAGE. My 'current husband' is not PERFECT, but he is 'the best man for me' and we are 'married forever and beyond.'
