Your parents are only looking after your best interest, BUt if you want to date then you are going to have show them that you are ready by being more responisable and mature to beablet o date, Talk with your parents in an adult manner about this , don't get mad and start screaming and yelling and stomping off to your room and slamming the door, This will only prove your parents point that you are not ready to date, If you do what your told with out fight, if you help around the house, if you can disscuss certain topics with out throwing a fit when you do not get your way, this will prove to your parents, Compermise with them, I had the same situtaion when I was a teen, I sat down with my parents and assured them that I would check in during the date, and that I would be home at a reasonable time of their chioce and that if I were late then I would be ground, meaning every minute I was late that would be a day grounded, I showed them I could be more mature and responsiable, by respecting them, doing what I was told with out agruement, helping around the house and keeping up my schooling, I assure you now as ever that if you show them this kind of respect you will beable to request to go on a date, I brought my boyfrineds over early so that both parents could meet with them and spend time with him, and I also respected their wishes even though at firest my dates were pretty short , they grew longer when I gained my parents trust, this is what its all about showing them I could make the right choices and be trusted to do so with out their watchful eye, also showing them if I got myself in to trouble that they would be the first I would tell, so show them how grown up you can and are by gaining their trust then sit down with them and disscuss this issue with them, in an adult manner.

I know this is a tough situation, but your parents are trying to protect you. If you live under their roof and are still a minor (under 18), then you have to abide by their rules.
With the attitude of "well screw them, I'm going to make my own decisions" you are headed for big trouble with your parents and others
Listen to them. One day you will thank them for this.

convince your parents that your responsible enough to have a boyfriend and maybe they will let u have a boyfriend sooner then when you get out of high school but it might be hard because they probably want to protect you from what can happen when you start dating and many things can happen and a lot of them are bad things

well if you end up falling in love even if your parents don't agree. Let your parents meet him and explain to them that you like that person and prove to them that your a responsible person.
