Nope.
Sorry about that, but Sony developed their own proprietary memory card format so that if you purchase one of their, albeit, fine cameras they also get to make a little extra money off of you when you buy their memory card.

Not usually. You need to check the mfr specs.

There are a lot of cameras that can use 2 different memory types.

Memory stick and SD memory is totally different.
