I support adoption by singles, gays, unmarried, hetero and any other person who can give a child the love and financial support that they need to grow into responsible adults.

This is a very interesting question. There are a lot of homosexual couples that adopt unwanted children that have medical issues or that are disabled. I do not support homosexuality in the same manner that I don't support adultery or fornication.

Do I want children being raised in any of those environments? No, I wish all children could have a father and a mother that love and nurture them...but that's not reality. So I guess my short answer to this complex question is No I do not support adoption by gay couples.

Absolutely! As a Catholic I'm taught not to judge people and I try not to and gay people are still people and they will answer for their sins when they die. Their business is between tham and God and and none of my business. Adopting a child no matter what your sexual orientation is a wonderful sacrifice to make for another human being and I fully support anyone willing to make that sacrifice. Children should always come first. Naturally I would prefer that they not be gay but there are so many children out there that need safe homes that I'm forced to overlook their homosexuality.

Two totally unrelated issues. To logically relate them you would have to say "I prefer that a child die than be adopted by a gay couple." or "I think all children adopted by gay couples should be killed because it would be better for them." I suppose someone MIGHT believe that, BUT I DON'T. That does not mean I support adoption of children by gay couples. If you create an artificial scenario where the only option for a child was to be aborted or adopted by a gay couple, then I guess I would go with the gay adoption. But really, I think the question is silly.

Im not a pro-lifer but I will say that I would only restrict adoptions to parents who are unable to raise thier child because they are unfit.

So far I think the only categories of people that should outright be denied adoption rights are:

1- metrosexuals

2- scientologists.

I have no problem with Gay couples adopting. As long as they can provide a loving home for their children.

What is your problem with a gay couple adopting a child? Is it that couple is gay? What is wrong with that? Did someone tell you two men or two women don't know how to bring up a child?

Honestly, I probably would. I'm more interested in seeing those children placed in loving, capable homes that if a gay couple is able to care for a child, I'd be ok with it.

I already support it... but then I'm also against blocking condom distribution and the idiotic concept of "abstinence" and a few other social ills that either wind up with the concept of "unwanted pregnancy" or "abortion" anyway... that's just my atheist Buddhist take on it.

I would prefer that people didn't create babies that they didn't want. Don't have sex unless you are ready to become a parent. There wouldn't be as many abortions then and there wouldn't be as many children waiting to be adopted. Children deserve to be loved by their mother and father. Wouldn't that be better?

May God Bless you.
